Sleep comes from sheer exhaustion,
usually preceded by a headache brought on by clenched jaws. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘵 Mornings start in their typical daze, showers rinse away the nights’ fitful sleep while thoughts start shouldering their way back into my foggy mind. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 Coffee is inhaled with a side of breakfast, Kids are rushed off to the bus stop, and the work commute is littered with watered down news, skewed opinions, and a reality that contradicts actuality 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 Work is where cognitive dissonance is an invaluable, practically impractical, tool 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘫𝘰𝘣 Home is a battlefield between guilt and contentment, happiness and contempt, serenity and anger, strength and feebleness 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 2,000,000 displaced, 27,365 dead, 66,630 injured, 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘐 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥
